مع ظهور الاقمار الصناعية فى عام 1942وإستخدامها لاول مرة فى مجالات الاتصالات عام 1962توفرت للاعلام الدولى قدرات كبيرة وغير مسيوقة. وقد شهدت السنوات الاخيرة تطورات هائلة فى مجال الاتصال ووسائله فظهرت الاجيال الجديدة من الاقمار الصناعية الرقمية التى يمكن ان تحمل الالاف من القنوات الإذاعية والتلفزيونية. تطورت وسائل الاتصال وتعددت في السنوات الأخيرة تطورًا هائلا بفضل التقدم العلمي والثورة التكنولوجية التي شهدها القرن العشرون. أصبحت وسائل الإعلام تمارس دورًا جوهريًا في إثارة اهتمام الجمهور بالقضايا والمشكلات المطروحة    .وتعد وسائل الإعلام [1]مصدرًا رئيسًا يلجأ إليه الجمهور في الحصول علي معلوماته عن كافة القضايا السياسية والثقافية والاجتماعية بسبب فاعليتها الاجتماعية وإنتشارها الواسع وقدرتها على الوصول ومخاطبة القسم الأعظم من التكوين المجتمعي. تهدف هذه الدراسة الى تسليط الضوءعلى تعدد القنوات ومدى فعاليتها فى تعزيز وظائف وسائل الاعلام وإشباع حاجات  الجمهور وتقديم إطار نظرى حول المزايا والإمكانيات و الوصول إلى مقترحات وتوصيات وقد رأت الباحثة ضرورة دراسة فعالية هذه القنوات ومدى فعاليتها فى تعزيز وظائف وسائل الاعلام  عينة الدراسة فى عينة عشوائية من جمهور القنوات الفضائية كل من منطقتى ( إمتداد ناصر- حى اركويت  اللاماب ناصر) باعتبارهم يمثلون مجتمعا وسطا وقد وزعت الباحثة 150 إستمارة استعادت منها (120) إستمارة. اظهرت النتائج ان  تعدد القنوات عزز وظائف وسائل الاعلام وان  تعدد القنوات ساعد على فهم الواقع والتفاعل من القضايا المهمة كما ان  تعدد القنوات  ساعد على سهولة المتابعة وتوفير المعلومات. -اوصت الدراسة بان تعمل القنوات الفضائية وفق منظور  انها عابرة للحدود مما يستوجب تركيزها على العناصر المشتركة كالقيم الاساسية

Abstract

Multiplicity of Satellite Channels and Enhancement Of Mass Media Functions

With the advent of satellites in 1942 and their first use in the fields of telecommunications in 1962, the international media had great and unprecedented capabilities. Recent years have witnessed tremendous developments in the field of communication and its means, so new generations of digital satellites have emerged that can carry thousands of radio and television channels. The means of communication have evolved, and in recent years there has been a tremendous development thanks to the scientific progress and technological revolution of the twentieth century. The media has played a fundamental role in raising the public’s interest in the issues and problems that araises.

Massmedia is considered amajor sourcefor publics to refer to gain information about political, cultraland social issues because of it,s social effectiveness, pubularity it,s ablity  to reach majority of  publics and  the extent of its effectiveness to enhance the functions of the media and satisfy the needs of the public and provide a theoretical framework on the advantages and possibilities and access to proposals and recommendations The researcher saw the need to study the effectiveness of these methods and methods of using them to reach a set of recommendations to identify the most successful methods to activate the study sample is a random sample from an audience  atellite Channels: each of the two regions (Nasir extension, Arkwat al-Lamab Nasser) as they represent a middle community, and the researcher distributed 150 forms, of which 120 were retrieved. Result showed that Chanallesa Multiplicity enhanced mass media functions, Chanallesa Multiplicity helped in understanding reality and interacting with important Isusses. The study recommened that satlite chanhhes should work in the prespectiveof crossing boarders which reire concentration of shared elements such as basic values
