ملخص:

    يهدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف إلى المعضلات الأخلاقية في مهنة المراسلة الحربية؛ فمثلما أن الحروب المختلفة في هذا القرن وظّفتْ تقنيات جديدة للقتل، أدخلتْ وسائل الإعلام بدورها أو استخدمت تكنولوجيات جديدة للإبلاغ عنه.

    أسفرَ البحث عن النتائج الآتية؛ يواجه الصحفيون ضغوطات ومعضلات متنوّعة عند الإبلاغ عن النزاعات، كما هو حال حرب كوسوفو؛ ضغوطٌ تضع أخلاقياتهم الشخصية مثل الصّدق والضمير في مواجهة أخلاقياتهم المهنية كالحيادية والموضوعية؛ وما يستدعيه ذلك من اتخاذ قرار أخلاقي واضح بين الإبلاغ عن الحرب، التحيّز أو الترفّع لسبب ما؛ وفيما يمكن لصحفيين أن يتحمّلوا هذه المعضلات لا يكون ذلك مُتاحا لآخرين.

Abstract:

The present research works seeks to identify the moral dilemmas in war corresponding as a profession. As different wars this century have introduced new technologies of killing, so too have the media introduced or used new technologies to report the killing.

The study yielded the following outcomes ; Journalists face different pressures and dilemmas when they report conflicts such as Kosovo. The pressure to put their personal ethics of honesty and conscience above their professional ethic of objectivity and impartiality, to make a clear moral choice between reporting the facts or pleading a cause, is one some reporters can with stand and others cannot.
