Abstract:-

The title of the study is (The role of Social network sites in spreading violence and extremism). The sample of the study is chosen randomly from Jazan region south Of Saudi Arabia. The study aimed at identifying the extent to which audience depend on social network sites in spreading violence and extremism. It is a descriptive study followed the survey method. An Electronic questionnaire is used as a tool for collecting Data. 1660 people participated in this study .The study comes out with some results the most important of which are

1. The majority think that Twitter is the top in spearing violence and extremism

2. Too many follow social network sites as news sources

3. Social network sites participated in spearing violence and extremism
