Satellite channels and employing the Arabic language to serve the issues of national unity

The importance of studying (satellite channels and employing the Arabic language to serve the issues of national unity) lies in the importance of modern means of communication and its role in preserving languages, which service of preserving the national identity and issues of unity, by virtue of the historical and epistemic interconnection between language and identity, so when we are able to provide Linguistic enrichment tools for our media in a sound and planned manner, we have come close to the mechanism of making the national identity away from tradition, and this needs to address the linguistic imbalance in these means as a first stage in the planning and building process. The study aimed to: Identify the concept of language, and stand up to the reality of the Arabic language in Arab satellite channels, as well as proper planning to employ the Arabic language in satellite programs and employ the Arabic language in the production and presentation of visual programs in innovative ways that develop the national feeling. Through relying on the qualitative analytical method based on reading and analyzing the prevailing trends in the Arab media, in particular satellite channels about the language of the prevailing media discourse and its proximity or distance from the formal Arabic language, the study reached a number of results, the most important of which are:
1- The necessity for the members of the Arab Language Academy to repeat their assurances and decisions that they had previously called upon by the Arab Media ministers at the conclusion of their sixty-seventh conference held in Cairo in April 2001 regarding the move of television and radio stations away from naming programs with foreign names.
2- Opening channels of cooperation between Arab linguistic groups and media institutions, in the matter of caring for eloquent language and its proper methods, and making use of the publications and periodicals of linguistic groups to enrich the field of linguistic knowledge among workers in television stations.
الملخص:
تكمن أهمية دراسة (القنوات الفضائية وتوظيف اللغة العربية لخدمة قضايا الوحدة الوطنية) ، من أهمية وسائل الاتصال الحديثة ودورها في حفظ اللغات الأمر الذي يصب في خدمة قضية الحفاظ على الهوية الوطنية وقضايا الوحدة، بحكم الترابط التاريخي والمعرفي بين اللغة والهوية، فمتى ما استطعنا أن نوفر أدوات الإثراء اللغوي لوسائل إعلامنا بشكل سليم ومخطط له، اقتربنا كثيراً من آلية صناعة الهوية الوطنية بعيداً عن التقليد، وهذا يحتاج إلى معالجة الخلل اللغوي في هذه الوسائل كمرحلة أولى في عملية التخطيط والبناء. وقد هدفت الدراسة إلى: التعرف على مفهوم اللغة، والوقوف على واقع اللغة العربية في القنوات الفضائية العربية، فضلاً عن التخطيط السليم لتوظيف اللغة العربية في البرامج الفضائية وتوظيف اللغة العربية في إنتاج وتقديم برامج مرئية بأساليب ابتكارية وابداعية متطورة تنمّي الشعور الوطني. من خلال الاعتماد على المنهج الكيفي التحليلي القائم على قراءة وتحليل الاتجاهات السائدة في وسائل الإعلام العربية وتحديداً القنوات الفضائية حول لغة الخطاب الإعلامي السائد ومدى قربه أو ابتعاده عن اللغة العربية الفصحى، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى جملة من النتائج من أهمها:
- ضرورة أن يعيد أعضاء المجمع اللغوي العربي تأكيداتهم وقراراتهم التي سبق وأن طالبوا بها وزراء الإعلام العرب في ختام مؤتمرهم السابع والستين الذي عقد في القاهرة في أبريل 2001 بخصوص إبتعاد المحطات التلفزيونية والإذاعية عن تسمية البرامج بأسماء أجنبية.
فتح قنوات التعاون بين المجمعات اللغوية العربية والمؤسسات الإعلامية، في أمر العناية باللغة الفصيحة وأساليبها السليمة، والاستفادة من منشورات ودوريات المجمعات اللغوية في إثراء حقل المعرفة اللغوية لدى العاملين في محطات التلفزة
